How to save as a .xlsx file?

  • In the latest versions of Microsoft Excel you can make a XLSX file by selecting the Microsoft Office icon (Earlier versions of Excel will require you to select File instead of seeing a icon), then select Save As.
  • Select where you’d like to save the file, then under Save as type, choose XLSX. Name your file and after Click Save.
