Shipping Carriers

In the “Shipping Carriers” tab, you are able to add and assemble different carriers: USPS, Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services, FedEx, and UPS

USPS #

USPS is set as the default shipping carrier. You are not able to edit or delete it.

FedEx #

To activate the FedEx service, click the [Toggle] icon.
FedEx

Then you have to add your established FedEx account and fill in all required details.
Note!
If you do not have the FedEx account yet, you have to create it first: click [Apply Here] to go to the FedEx home page and apply for the FedEx account.
Before you start specifying details, you have to tick [Yes, I agree] to accept the FedEx Web Services End User License Agreement. Otherwise, you will not be able to add the FedEx account.

You may look through the full text of the agreement clicking [View agreement here].
After that, you have to specify the information at the “Add Your FedEx Account” page.

First, you have to enter data in the “Account Number”* and “Account Nickname”* fields.

Afterward, you have to click the [Dropdown] icon and pick one drop off type from the list.

Next, you have to specify details in the “Contact First Name”*, “Contact Last Name”*, “Company”*, and “Email”* boxes.

You have to fill in the address details in the “Address 1″* and “Address” fields.
Note!
Only “Address 1″* is obligatory to be filled in, the “Address” is optional.

Fill in the “City”* and “Zip Code”* text-fields.

To set the country/territory(*) and state/province(*), click the [Dropdown] icon and choose the needed from the list.
Also, you have to specify your phone number (*).

To finish, click the [Save Account] button at the bottom of the page or [Cancel] to abolish.
If the FedEx account is activated, you get a notification, and FedEx will appear in your shipping carriers list.

To edit the FedEx account settings, click the [Settings] icon.

On the “Update Your FedEx Account” page you can change account nickname(*), drop off type, and SmartPost settings. The only information you can not edit is the account number.

To edit account nickname(*) , delete current nickname and enter the new one in the appropriate text-field.

To change the “Drop Off Type” box, click the [Dropdown] icon and choose the needed type from the list.

To activate or deactivate “SmartPost”, click the [Toggle] icon.

Note! If you switch on “SmartPost”, you have to specify “SmartPost Hub” and “SmartPost Endorsement”: click the [Dropdown] icon and choose the requisite hub and endorsement.

To confirm changes, click [Save Account] at the bottom of the page or [Cancel] to annul changes.
If the FedEx account is activated, you get a notification, and FedEx will appear in your shipping carriers list.
To delete the FedEx account, click the [Delete] icon.

Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services #

Amazon’s Buy Shipping Service is activated after Amazon sales channel has been connected to SellerSkills.
Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services is available only for orders made at Amazon.

If you need to edit Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services, click the [Settings] icon.

Note!
You can deactivate or activate Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services by clicking the [Toggle] icon.

UPS #


To activate UPS service, click the [Toggle] icon.

Then you have to add your established UPS account and fill in all required details.
Note!
If you do not have the UPS account yet, you have to create it first: click [this link] to go to the UPS Sign Up page and apply for the UPS account.

Before you start specifying details, you have to go to the UPS Developer Kit page by clicking the link on the “Add Your UPS Account” page.

Then, you have to choose [Request an access key].

After that, you have to specify the information at the “Add Your UPS Account” page.

First, you have to enter data in the “Account Nickname”*, “UPS License Number”*, “Username”*, and “Password”* fields.

Next, you have to provide info in the “Shipper Number” field. You can find your shipping number, commonly referred to as UPS account number, in the following ways:
  • By calling UPS at 1 (800) 742-5877;
  • By finding the tracking number of a package that was shipped using your UPS account. Look for the string of six numbers and letters that immediately follow “1Z” – that is your shipper number;
  • By locating it on paper invoices or electronically for shippers signed up to UPS Billing Center.


To activate negotiated rates, click the [Toggle] icon. You can find more information on negotiated rates on the UPS website.

Next, you have to fill in information in the “Name”*, “Phone No.”*, “Company”, and “Email”* boxes.

Afterward, provide your address info in the “Address 1” and “Address 2” fields.

Note!
Only “Address 1″* is obligatory to be filled in, the “Address 2” is optional.
After you have to fill in the “City”* and “Zip/Postal Code”* fields.

Then you have to specify information in the “Country/Territory”* and “State/Province”* boxes by clicking the [Dropdown] icon and choosing the appropriate data.

Note!
The address information specified here must match the physical address that was provided to UPS for this account. It may be different than the address entered in the group profile.
Having filled in all required information, check it please and click [Save Account] to add UPS service to your SellerSkills app or choose [Cancel].
