To go to the “Receiving” page, click [Inventory] in the top menu and choose [Receiving] from the list.
To create a new receiving, click [New Receiving] at the top of the “Receiving” page.
Next, you have to specify the information at the “New Receiving” page.
Firstly, you have to fill in the “Invoice ID”*.
Afterwards, you have to enter the provider name.
Then you have to specify the details in the “Receiving Date”* field.
Next, you have to enter the item identifier manually or you can scan it and click [Search]. Identifier can not be shorter than 8 characters and longer then 14 characters.
If item with the similar identifier is in the inventory, it is added to the list in the receiving or you may choose it from the list.
If item with the specified identifier is not found in the inventory, you have to create a new product. In the “Create New Product” window you have to enter the product name(*), SKU(*) identifier and price(*).
Also you can the type of the identifier by clicking the [Dropdown] icon in the field with the identifier type and choosing the one from the list.
To create a new product, click [Save] or choose [Close] to return to the “New Receiving” window. Having added all items to the list in the new receiving, you have to edit their cost and quantity values. These two values will be updated when a new receiving has been created.
Afterwards, you can write a note. It must be not longer than 600 characters.
To create a new receiving, click [Save]. You get a “Success” notification if a receiving is created.
To simplify receiving search and management, you may use filters.
To create a new filter, click [Filters] in the right corner above the receiving list.
Now you can customize a new filter according to your needs. You can specify the following data in the “Filter Products” window:
First you have to set the date created range: “From” and “To”.
You can choose the date with a date-picker. To navigate, use the [Left] and [Right] arrows. Also, you can enter data manually in the date format MM/DD/YY, where MM — a month, DD — a day, and YY — a year.
Afterwards, you have to set the receiving date range: “From” and “To”.
Next, you have to set the total cost range in the fields “From” and “To”.
Check the filled data, and if everything is correct, click [Apply filter] or click [Clear filter] to clear filled data and specify the required information to create a new filter.
To change data in the arranged filter, click [Filters] in the right corner above the receiving list and edit the required information in the “Filter Products” window.
To apply changes, click [Apply filter] or [Clear filter] to delete filled data.
To exclude particular filter identifiers from the arranged filter, click the [Close] icon of the required identifiers on the panel above the displayed receiving list.
You can remove all identifiers.
*If it is needed, click [More] to see all filter identifiers. To hide, also click [More].
To delete filter, click [Filters] in the right corner above the receiving list. Then click [Clear filter] at the bottom of the “Filter Products” window.
To delete filter in another way, click all [Close] icons of filter identifiers on the panel above the displayed receiving list.
“Search Inventory” is another instrument to speed up your receiving search. You can perform search by the invoice ID or provider name.
To start, put the cursor into the “Search Receiving” field and enter the appropriate data.
To clear the “Search Receiving” field, click the [Close] icon or highlight the text and press the [Backspace] or [Delete] keys.
